I know the lunar new year has past for most of you, but I still have 21 minutes on my clock so I wanted to be sure to get this out before it closes out for sure.
I love celebrating this holiday almost as much as the usual holiday season. I am part Chinese and while my family doesn’t celebrate this as hardcore as traditional Chinese families do, I remember receiving red envelopes from my relatives when I was younger. These envelopes would have a quarter and sometimes candy. So, I love acknowledging it.
This Chonese new year is honoring the fire monkey. People born in the year of the monkey tend to be curious, clever, and creative. They have a strong work ethic and tend to never miss a day of work. They’re also adaptable. For more info, you can do an Internet search and a whole slew of information will be at your disposal. I got these tidbits at Chinese Zodiac.
And it’s almost as if I can start over again if I need to π .
With that said …
I wish you all a happy new year! May it be filled with lots of love and laughter.
Best Wishes!
