What I thought would be an interesting, quick read has now tied up my brain!
While I’m in my current semester, I try not to read books that are too heavy or take up too much brain power. You know the ones I mean. Game of Thrones is a good example. Which is why I tend to read those romance novels. They’re quick, easy, and don’t take up to much brain power but I still can give my mind a break, you know?
Another great example are young adult reads. They tend to read smooth and while some of them are really captivating (like The Graveyard Book) I can still manage to pull off studying.
This book, however, may cause problems. The Ghosts of Heaven by Marcus Sedgwick seems to be tying up my brain!
I’ll write more about it later this week, but that’s why I need to press the pause button on normal posting until I can untie my brain!
