Dear 2015,
The year is just flying by, huh? In a few days it will be Easter, another mark in the passing of time. And even though we’re just beginning Spring, I already miss Autumn and Winter. I know, I’m crazy, considering the Winter everyone had. It was unbearably cold all around and even in Hawaii our weather was pretty cold, for Hawaii.
This past month was all about TV. I finished the entire Gilmore Girls series. I started a few more, including CW’s Reign and TNT’s The Librarians. Oh, and I’m starting my trek into Buffy, the Vampire Slayer on Netflix. I’m excited to see where these series are going. I’ve already watched a few episodes of each and I like what I’ve seen so far.
I’ve added more movies to my brain, including John Wick, The Seventh Son, Blackhat, The Equalizer, Kingsman, and Big Hero 6. It was a big movie month for us.
Since I ended up being sick in March, I’m a bit behind on reading. I’m still stuck on Wild Reckless by Ginger Scott, if I’m being honest. It was intense and such a good book. You can check out my review here, but wow! Such a good author. I’m patiently waiting of the next great book to cross my path.
But, April is a new month. What’s in store for us in April?
Furious 7 is released this month. I’m not really a huge fan of the franchise, but I’ve watched every movie. I’ll probably check this one out. Aside from this one, there’s nothing that’s piqued my interest.
Nothing really jumped out at me in the literary world either, but I’m finishing up my preview reads from February. I made the mistake of entering in one too many drawings on LibraryThing for book previews. I didn’t think I’d win as much as I did! I mean, there were at least 50 people per book! So, yeah. I’m grateful for the lull while I catch up. I can’t wait for the summer where at least two of my favorite authors are releasing long over due books in their respective series. *happy dance*
So even though we’re a bit slow in April, we’ll make it worth while.
March was good, I’m hoping to make April better!
Cheers!
