Random 411: New family branches

What a night it’s been! Talk about an information junkie’s paradise.

From Wednesday until tomorrow my grandfather’s mother’s relatives are hosting a four-day family reunion. It’s the third year we’ve done a camp out-slash-luau and every year I’ve learned something you. This year, I’ve had the privilege of going more than one night and boy have I learned some doozies! It’s going to be a challenge sorting out the ancestral lines, considering that my great, great, great grandmother had five daughters from five different beaus with four of the lines having about five children each. It’s all along the matriarchal line so of course surnames are different.

As mentioned, challenging, but I’m so looking forward to it. Call me a nerd or whatever, but I love puzzles. I’m not always good at them, but I love the challenge of solving them. And I have one more night to ask questions in person. I’m excited.

So, forgive me for skipping my normal book review post, but I’ve been on the go from this morning, I’ve had a massive information upload into the brain, and I’m typing this with my eyes half closed.

Until tomorrow!
