Blogging 411: 2014 in review

If there is one thing any historian loves it’s the idea that you have a record of what was done, a history (duh!), and so little things like this review amuse the heck out of me. It’s been a great year. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s been ups and there have been downs and they’ll be wrapped up in a neat little New Years Eve-relfections on the year post, but for now, thank you to all who visit. If you told me two years ago that my blog would get 1900 views in one year, I’d have scoffed at you. Okay, maybe not scoffed, but I’d have thought you were being way too optimistic. And yet, 1900 views there were in 2014.

Again, thank you! It’s the viewers (that’s you) who make this fun and interesting and it’s the viewers (remember, I’m still talking about you) who will keep me motivated into 2015.

(Oh, and can you believe I’ve been posting daily for 59 days straight. Woohoo! I feel so accomplished)

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,900 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 32 trips to carry that many people.
