Writing 411: Day vs Night

(I love this picture! Thank you conlang.wikia.com!)

One thing I’ve notice after blogging for 20 days straight is that I mainly blog/write at night. In some ways this surprises me because not a morning has gone by this month where I didn’t think about what I wanted to blog about that day. When I get up and do my morning routine, when I’m driving to work, when I’m at work. I swear I’ve thought about writing during the day.

But it’s not until the day has past and the busyness has slowed down to almost a stop where I actually form structured thoughts. It’s not until the day’s events starts settling down that my mind starts to focus on what I want to write.

However, the fact that the night provides my best thoughts doesn’t surprise me. I’ve always been more of a night person than a day person. And I think it mainly has to do with the fact that most of my household goes to sleep by 9 pm, leaving me a good hour or two to be alone with my thoughts.

Are you a day person or a night person? And why is that?

I’m curious. Especially if you’re more a day person. I’d love to get your perspective.

Anyways, until tomorrow! Ciao!
