Wise Words: Fear v.s. Faith

Blog_WiseWords-WhatIfYouFly

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought of this quote this past week. How often is it we find ourselves holding back because we fear something? Don’t lie. Take an honest look at yourself.

“What if they don’t like it?”

“What if it doesn’t work out?”

“What if it is in’t worth it?”

What if I fall?

Fear of rejection. Fear of the unknown. Fear of failure.

For me? All. The. Time.

I’ve heard to combat fear you need to have faith. It’s a simple solution, no? Faith in yourself. Faith that things will work out. Faith that you can and will pick yourself up … “dust yourself, and start all over again. (Swing Time, 1936)”

We know it’s not always easy. And when we start to question ourselves, remember to also ask … What if you fly?

  1. I remember having those very same thoughts before starting my blog. But as you said faith that I can actually connect to others kept me going. And it was definitely worth it. Well penned!

    1. Yes. Faith! Blogging/writing is so personal. We’re sharing a part of ourselves when we author a post or piece. But it is always a possibility we’ll fly.
