How many of us can relate to this in some way or another?
I captured this because it brought on a perspective that I never considered before. Are we afraid because it, whatever “it” is, or are we afraid because it’ll hurt? And then to think that it hurts because it matters? I think it’s one of those things that lingers at the edge of thought, but we never think about until we stumble upon a quote like this.
So the next time we’re afraid, perhaps we can stop and think about our fear for a bit.
After all, anything that’s worth it, will hurt. And in my humble opinion, I’d rather hurt because of something that was worth it, than regret it because I was too afraid.
